If you are like me searching Etsy into the wee hours of the night, then you know that bar art is pretty hot right now. I have seen some amazing typography and watercolor prints that I know would jazz up my bar, but deciding on one to purchase is proving difficult! An afternoon of magazine flipping solved my problem, at least temporarily. I was looking at the August issue of InStyle magazine and found a two page ad for Patron tequila. One of the pages was a lovely watercolor version of their classic ad. As soon as I saw the pretty grey, yellow and green tones of the painted bottle, I knew I wanted to get that ad in a frame. Since the magazine page is a bit transparent, I couldn't frame it as is without getting the back of the ad showing through. I just cut out around the bottle, glued it to an 8 x 10 piece of white card stock with spray adhesive, and framed it in a white frame. Voila, bar cart art in five minutes!
