It's officially that time of year when I start to look forward to the holidays. Just like I enjoy making gifts for my family and friends, I also love sending out personalized cards. That personal touch makes all the difference, don't you think? I was excited to learn that Minted, an online site for paper goods designed by independent artists and voted for by customers, offers a charming range of holiday cards that can be customized with your own photos and text. You can check out Minted's great card selection at http://www.minted.com/photo-
I bought my first home in the past year, so I really like the new home holiday
cards with a space to give people your new address. Then there are the
classic pet cards. How cute would Emmie look on the card with the
reindeer ears?! I am also loving the elegant gold foil options.
While looking at the holiday cards, I was so excited to see that Minted offers art prints. As you all know, I have been working on a master bedroom restyle and one of my big changes is adding a gallery wall. I am swapping out my dark wood furniture with fresh white pieces, and want to accessorize with pinks and blues to really brighten up the room. Minted offers prints in a variety of styles and colors, and some prints even have different color options. One of the best features of the Minted site is the ability to create style boards with their products so you can see how the items look together in different settings. I created the below gallery wall board and I think these prints look so lovely together! I'm ordering a few of these prints and can't wait to incorporate them into the ones I already have collected.
Here is a style board I created showing how I plan to use art, flowers and plants to add pops of color to the white palette I am creating. The Minted boards let my import my own photos to view them with some of the art prints I selected for my gallery wall above, so I can see how they all look together. I think all the pink, light blue and green colors will create a happy vibe in the room, don't you?
Finally, check out this adorable greeting card I created. You better believe I will frame one of these cards and put it on my desk. We can't have fresh peonies all year, but this darling little image, complete with my blog name, will keep me smiling all through the winter! Thank you Minted for prettying up my home!
